This has been a year, unlike anything we could have imagined. Ever since March 19, when I signed a bylaw declaring Vancouver’s first-ever state of emergency, keeping the infection rate as low as possible has been my main concern.
Thanks to the hard work of people like you, we have made significant progress since then, but we’re not out of the woods yet. In fact, right now we’re firmly in the midst of the pandemic’s second wave here in British Columbia.
