Prominent Politicians, Environmentalists and Overdose Prevention Advocates Endorse Forward Together’s Kennedy Stewart
David Eby, Mike Harcourt, Jenny Kwan, Tzeporah Berman and Sarah Blyth are among the well-known public figures who have come out in support of Forward Together mayoral candidate Kennedy Stewart


VANCOUVER, BC; October 6, 2022 – Eight prominent public figures have endorsed Forward Together mayoral candidate Kennedy Stewart in the upcoming municipal election. They are:
- Brenda Bailey (BC NDP MLA for Vancouver-False Creek and Parliamentary Secretary for Technology and Innovation)
- Tzeporah Berman (Co-Founder and International Program Director at Stand.earth)
- Sarah Blyth (Executive Director of the Overdose Prevention Society)
- Katrina Chen (BC NDP Minister of State for Child Care)
- Libby Davies (former NDP MP and Vancouver city councillor)
- David Eby (leadership candidate for the BC NDP; former attorney-general and minister responsible for housing)
- Mike Harcourt (former premier of B.C. and mayor of Vancouver)
- Jenny Kwan (NDP MP for Vancouver East)
“I am honoured to be endorsed by such an amazing group of accomplished individuals who have done and continue to do so much to make our city, province, country and planet a better place,” said Forward Together mayoral candidate Kennedy Stewart. “Their support is a vote of confidence in our plan to significantly increase the supply of housing, protect renters, double childcare spaces, tackle climate change and make our city safer and healthier.”
