Today, Kennedy Stewart unveiled his new electoral organization, Forward Together, which will carry the Mayor and a thoughtful, hard-working new team of candidates into Vancouver’s 2022 municipal elections this fall.

“Despite all the challenges we’ve been through as a city, I’ve never stopped working to move Vancouver forward on the issues that matter,” said Forward Together Mayor Kennedy Stewart. “Whether that’s fighting speculation by tripling the empty homes tax, securing over $1 billion in non-market rental housing investments, or passing Making Home – my plan to bring homeownership back to the middle class.”

But while Kennedy Stewart has been working to build a Vancouver that works for everyone, right-wing parties on Council have fought progress and delayed his work at every turn. That’s why Kennedy says now is the time to launch Forward Together.

“This fall, voters will have a clear choice: turn back the clock with Ken Sim and the NPA, or move Forward Together and elect a team that works for them and their family.”
