Take the At-Large Election Survey
At Forward Together, we care about local democracy and local elections by which you vote for your local mayor and council.
We are working on campaigns to make local politicians more accountable to you, but want to know what you think is important.
We'd really appreciate your input to help us decide our next steps.
Some of the questions in this survey concern the at-large election system by which we choose our local government representatives in all cities and towns in British Columbia.
In at-large elections, candidates for council are elected by voters across the whole municipality. This is very different from federal and provincial elections where your municipality is divided into a number of constituencies, with one member of parliament (MP) or member of the legislative assembly (MLA) elected to represent your local area.
